May is always a busy month around our house, we have three Birthdays! I had an awesome birthday and was able to go out with my Mom and sisters. We went to Texas Roadhouse *yum* and I got to be completely humiliated riding on the saddle thanks to Crystal. Paybacks, paybacks.....that's what I keep reminding her. We then went shopping and had yummy frozen yogurt-my new favorite thing! It's soooo good! I keep telling myself that its "good and healthy" for me. It probably is before I heap mounds of toppings on :) For Joe and Ashlee's Birthdays, we had one huge Elmo party. Joe was such a good sport! We had all of the family over for a BBQ. I made Elmo cupcakes and my mom made Joe a Spiderman cake. We had a blast and they both got extremely spoiled! Joe finally got his dream toy, a PS3! I'm trying to decide it I regret that decision yet.....Ashlee got lots and lots of pretties (bracelets & necklaces) and princess shoes. She wears them all day, oh how I love the sound of *clomp*clomp*clomp* at 8'oclock in the morning, let me tell ya. She sure does look cute in them though.
We went camping in Enterprise for the Memorial Day Weekend. I have to be honest and say that I wasn't all that excited to be going, but once we were there we all had a blast. The girls were really good and just loved getting dirty and playing with their cousins. Each day we would leave camp on the four wheelers around 11 and not get back until 4.Whew, that's a long ride but so much fun! The girls handled it probably better than I did, but we all got fried the first day and are still recovering. Joe and I look like lepers! I don't even want to go to the store! The second day we found this beautiful meadow, so we decided to stop and have lunch there. The kids loved it and Michon and I were able to get some awesome pictures. My brother Casey brought his canoe and finally talked me into going out for a ride. It was so pretty Michon and I had to take a few pictures. Ashlee decided to take a dunk though. Don't worry....just her head, and she didn't seem all that traumatized either. She was just mad when Uncle Casey decided to bring her back. She did not want to get out of that boat! All in all, it was a good time for everyone I hope. Thanks Michon and Kaden for sharing the Rhino, even though Joe is determined he's going to find some way to get one now :) Oh well, a boy can dream....right?
This was out on our boat ride
What's camping without Smores, right? *YUM*
These two were so cute together and never left each others side all weekend.
*I'm apologizing now for the random order of pictures, but I still don't exactly know what I'm doing here*
