Joe had to work the 4th this year as usual, so the girls and I headed over to Casey's for his Birthday BBQ and fireworks with the family.
I had to take the annual 4th of July pictures first.

Macey insisted on taking a picture with Pepper. Those two are best friends.
Macey and the other kids loved it. Karver and Ashlee, not so much. Anytime a loud firecracker would go off, they would both hide.
Doesn't Ashlee's face just say it all? Poor girl wouldn't even try a sparkler.
